Audience:

New students and old students who want information about things to do in or near Wichita Falls. One of the best places for students to find this information would be in the student center. I would say the best people for the job of distributing this information, and keeping it up to date would be the welcoming commity, and the student body to help keep the information up to date and correct. To my knowledge there is no such piece of information such as this. There may be a list of restaurants, and or bars or clubs but not like this will be. To me it is important to know your surroundings, this would include the best restaurants to visit, the best grocery stores to shop in, the best or most laid back clubs or bars to visit. I prefer the latter.

Research Strategies:

There will be a huge amount of research available we will just have to go out and get it. This will include both primary and secondary research. There are many sources to consider such as actually asking people, word of mouth, also by checking websites dedicated to rating these establishments.

Purpose of Proposal:

The purpose of this proposal is to investigate what information is available to help new and old students understand Wichita Falls and the surrounding areas as well.

Key Questions:

"Can I rely on this information gathered by a bunch of students?" "Just because they like this place, will I?"
